Frank Lloyd Hicks Jr. was born in Wakefield, Mass. to Frank and Irene Hicks on October 28, 1938. He went to school at Reading, Mass. He married Christine Martin on July 23, 1976 in Las Vegas, NV. He worked as a Contracts Administrator for Evans & Sutherland for 19 Years living in Southern California, Florida, and Arizona before retiring in Southern Utah. He has traveled around the world in various modes including Hiking in Yellowstone and the back trails of Red Rock country however cruising was the chosen way of travel he really enjoyed. He studied at Notre Dame, Yale, Harvard, UCLA, U of U, Purdue, BC, Pasadena City College, U of Tenn, and the list goes on with several degrees including BA in Journalism, JD, MBA, special studies in Nuclear Instrumentation, Astrophysics, Marketing, Electronics (Amateur Radio W7FH), Logistics (with a CPL), etc. He worked in the Space program, Flight simulators, various aircraft (A&P and Pilot Licenses), travel industry, spent time in Washington, and even teamed up with his wife Christine and daughter Teresa in Breeding Arabian horses. But who was he? When asked one day, this is what he said. "My heroes are Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Pope John Paul II, St. Therese of the Child Jesus - The Little Flower, Buffy, and my wife Christine. There are also some other heroes, who some might call little people, elegant people who have shown up at various times in my life and shown me secrets to what life is all about. I have spent a lot of years trying to catch up with these 'little people,' which means I'm even littler. One of my most important daily events is daily Mass beginning each day thanking God for the day and that he will carry me through it. The road I walk is one towards God, I hope. So it is a joy to meet and walk along the way with others on the same quest. I'm proud to add OCDS behind my name."
